Chinese Mission to United Nations Human Settlements Programme

The Permanent Mission of the People's Republic of China to United Nations Human Settlements Programme was set up in 1990 in Nairobi , Kenya. The Mission is responsible for communication and coordination of the cooperation between China and UN-Habitat.

The Permanent Representative of the Mission is concurrently the Chinese Ambassador to Kenya, and the Deputy Representative and other staff are selected by the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development of China.

At present, Chinese Ambassador to Kenya H.E. Mr. Liu Guangyuan holds the position of Permanent Representative of the Mission, and Mr.Zheng Guangda is Deputy Permanent Representative.
