Vice Premier Wang Qishan Meets with US Under Secretary of the Treasury Lael Brainard

On April 13, 2012, Vice Premier Wang Qishan met with U.S. Under Secretary of the Treasury Lael Brainard who was entrusted by U.S. Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner to come to China to make preparations for the Economic Dialogue under the framework of the fourth round of China-US Strategic & Economic Dialogue (S&ED). Wang Qishan listened to the policy considerations of the US side concerning this round of dialogue and expounded China's policy considerations. The two sides also exchanged views on the world economic situation.
