On 1st July 2015, the Chinese Embassy in Kenya launched the online appointment system for Chinese visa applicants in order to serve them better. However, during the last one month, quite a number of applicants, who had made the appointments, failed to show up on assigned dates, causing waste of resources for the efficient operation of the system.

In order to tackle the problems, the Embassy has adjusted the system and increased the number of visa officers to improve our services. Some additional temporary quotas will be provided daily on a “first-come, first-serve” basis.

Visa applicants are kindly requested to make online appointments beforehand and come to the Embassy for submitting the required documents on time to ensure that every applicant can get the visa smoothly and timely.
