About Authentications

The Embassy of P.R.C. to the Republic of Kenya can authenticate the signature and stamp both from Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Republic of Kenya and Embassy of Republic of Somalia to the Republic of Kenya

The documents required must be:

1. One Authentication Application Form which is completely filled(you can take the form from the visa hall).

2. The documents and copy of all the documents to be authenticated(including the Verbal Note from Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Republic of Kenya or Embassy of Republic of Somalia to the Republic of Kenya)

3. Photocopy of the applicant's passport or ID card. In case of business license authentication, a photocopy of the company's legal person's passport or ID card is required.

 

Fees and processing time

The Embassy will adjust the fee for authentication which will be effect from 1st September 2010 as following:

----For Civil documents, e.g. Adoption, marriage, birth/death certificate kinship, etc.1,800ksh

----For Property or Commercial documents, e.g. Business license, labor agreement, inheritance, property transfer, etc.3,600ksh

The regular processing time is 4 working days. For express service, additional fees of 2,000ksh for 3 working days.
