On May 12th, in the fundraising drive kicked off by the President H.E. Mr. Mwai Kibaki, the staff members of the Embassy of the People's Republic of China made a donation of twenty-three thousand US dollars for the resettlement of IDPs in Kenya. H.E. Mr. Zhang Ming, the Chinese Ambassador in Kenya presented the cheque to the Kenyan government through Hon. Moses Wetangula, Minister for Foreign Affairs.

The Chinese side is confident that the Kenyan Grand Coalition government will achieve success in the great course of National rebuilding and economic and social development. And the Chinese side will continue to make its contributions to such endeavors.
