Chinese President Sent Message of Condolence to His Kenyan Counterpart

 

On May 13th, 2007, H.E. Mr. Hu Jintao, President of the People's Republic of China sent a massage of condolence to H.E. Mr. Mwai Kibaki, President of the Republic of Kenya on the occasion of national mourning ceremony held by the Kenyan Government on May 14th, 2007, for the tragic crash of Kenya Airway flight. The full text of the Message goes as following:

"I learn that a national mourning ceremony for the bereaved in the tragic crash of Kenyan Airway flight will be held on May 14th, 2007. In this regard I would like, on behalf of the Chinese Government and its people, and in my own name, to express to Your Excellency, and through Your Excellency, to the Government and the people of the Republic of Kenya, the deceased and their family members and relatives our sincere sympathy and deep condolences."
